1) you can't 2) it is a myfaces bug 3) you need to use myfaces nightlies For some reason this major bug was not fixed in the stable release of myfaces. It seems like all 1.1.1 bugs are only fixed in the nightlies, which unfortunately leaves us with no stable and production quality JSF implementation on the market to my knowledge. The price of early adoption eh?
