CSS and TabbedPane

Hi, I am trying to apply css styles to tags <table>, <tr> and <td> of a tabbedpane. The styles I can define through attributes are, sadly, not sufficient, as I need to apply height and width settings. Can someone tell me if this problem is already addressed, or even better resolved ?   I already looked at the code and it seems to me that some changes/additions have to be made to HTMLTabbedPanelRenderer near line 171. Is it possible that I fix this myself and someone else adds it to the repository ?
