This relates to dynamic URL parameters in JSF navigation: I'm
wondering if anyone has any knowledge about the message which is
quoted below.

I have googled extensively in hopes of finding information about this
implicit 'view' object, and I think it's an instance of UIViewRoot,
but the example Xie Min provided gives me the impression that
arbitrary properties can be set on it (and subsequently used in the
JSF navigation config). Can anyone clear up how this is supposed to
work?

Thanks a lot,

Xie Min,

This is a great find, very close to what I'm talking about. However,
in the following line:

<to-view-id>/view.jsp?objectId=#{view.objectId}</to-view-id>

what object does 'view' in the EL expression reference? Is this an
implicit object, or one defined in a configuration somewhere? If it is
implicit, how do I set it's properties from a backing bean?

Thanks a lot,
benjamin
