Welcome David. I too have ran into that issue as well.
The examples are in the SVN repository and link is available under the heading: Latest source code and nightly builds from SVN repository On the page: http://myfaces.apache.org/download.html The link should go to: http://apache.org/dev/version-control.html If your on Windows, you could use SmartSVN and download the examples and source. The Getting Started page at myfaces.apache.org suggests for a new developer to install and run the examples. The pointer is to http://myfaces.apache.org/downl oad.html. However, the download page only has Core, Tomahawk, and Tobago. No examples! I have found older versions of the examples, but they have older copies of the myfaces libraries (and the web.xml refers to the outdated "net.sourceforge"). My goal is to find any small war file example using myfaces 1.1.3. All online tutorials I've found uses either older myfaces or Sun's RI. Thanks for any pointers, -David Van Stone-
