I'm using the core-1.1.4 release candidate, facelets 1.1.11 and sandbox 1.1.5 snapshot (not sure of the date -- I built it on 7/20 but I may have downloaded it much earlier) without a problem. However, I am not using subform, so this issue may be specific to subform.
