you are right, we already thought about that solution. But I originally want to embed the content of the second server into the pages of the main one.

If your by "webserver" you mean Tomcat, you can font it with your your
HTTP webserver such as Apache HTTP server. You can use mod_jk or or
mod_proxy very easily.
