Hi,

 

In my JSF application, on selecting download button, I have to download an application (exe).

When I navigate to the download page, and select the download button, It opens Open/Save dialog with file name as <my pagename>.jsf. If I select Open, then another Open/Save dialog pops-up and download happens.

If I select the download button again, blank page is getting displayed.

 

Please help me how I can directly set the exe path as form action. (I can not hard code the path as it is dynamic).

Check implementations of ResourceLoader. There's stuff like
GraphicImageDynamicRenderer etc, that generates downloadable resources in the
runtime. I guess you need to implement somethin similar.
