MyFaces and Ajax

Hi,

I have to start developing an application using JSF and Ajax. We've chosen MyFaces implementation of JSF. My question is, is there any way to make them work together without writing a lot of code?

I can see n number of frameworks and have no idea which one to use. On the other hand, I am new to both JSF and Ajax and learning another framework along with these two would be tough. Can anyone guide me to resources where I can get started?

Which IDE to use?
The whole frameworks, JSF, Ajax and what not seems to have become a huge muddle. I feel like I am looking for a needle in a haystack. Are there any books that I can refer to for JSF and Ajax together? (I have one on Ajax and one on JSF, not one which does them together).

Any help would be appreciated.
