Hi,
i think that trinidad has something similar. The navigationPane has
commandNavigationItem s as child elements, which can take an action.
Have a look:
<tr:navigationPane hint="tabs" >
<tr:commandNavigationItem text="Page 1"
action="#{demoCommandNavigationItem.navigationItemAction}"/>
..
</tr:navigationPane>
