Hi,

We would have similar requirement, we need to highlight schedule component date section (like holiday)  with different background color based on the entries of that particular date.

For example 5 th of month is say busy (show in red), 7th is partially busy show in yellow and no event on particular day then we want to show that in different color.

Can we have somthing like holiday with background color option?

model.setHoliday(new Date(rs.getDate("hodate").getTime()), rs.getString("holiday"));

Thanks,
Yogesh

Hi,

this is not something you can easily do with the schedule model, because
that class only contains the entries for the currently displayed
timespan in the schedule. When the schedule is in workweek mode for
example, the model contains the entries for the 5 days in the selected
week. Since the inputCalendar displays a whole month, that would be
incomplete.

Typically though, your implementation of the schedulemodel fetches the
entries from a database or iCal file, so you could extend this
implementation for use with the inputCalendar.

Next problem would be the rendering of days with an appointment in
bold/red. For that part I would have to look at the inputCalendar
component, because I don't know it very well myself... I'll get back to
you with this.
