popup component

Hi All,   Is there a component for displaying a popup in Myfaces? I have tried using the popup component - http://www.jenia.org   However I have encountered the following problems: The popup closes when clicked anywhere else on the screen. This does not serve my purpose as the user should respond to the popup before he/she does anything else. There are some problems when the popup needs to be populated with values fetched from a database.
