there are some issue, since we renamed some components, attributes etc
during our incubabtion phase already

check [1] for a sorta migration path. The main Trinidad wiki ([2])
also points you to some (interesting/important) notes on T.

at least have they only been extended rather than having some functionality
removed)?

Some are removed, some are new. Like I mentioned before we renamed
something. Check [3] and [4] for more.

Is the incubation version of Trinidad stable for project use or is it worth
waiting until it becomes a fully fledged library with all the creases ironed
out?

Mentioned before to your other post, that Trinidad is sorta stable ;)
Btw. we have special lists for Trinidad here ;)

Any opinions on the above most welcome,
