Hi All,
I am trying to create a left menu using <t:panelNavigation2> and
<t:navigationMenuItems> (This is used because the menu is created
dynamically depending on the role of a user)
I have to display an icon and text on each navigation menu item.
When I create a NavigationMenuItem object with text and an icon
location:
menu.add(new NavigationMenuItem("Access",
"#{accessDelegationBeanName.getMyExistingDelegations}",
"/images/icon/home.gif",false));
It only displays an icon - the text is missing.
Is it a known bug when we use NavigatioMenuItem?
I tried using <t:commandNavigation2> tags instead of
<t:navigationMenuItems> and everything works fine - both the text and
icon is displayed properly. This solution is of no use to me because the
menu items are decided at run time depending on the role of the user.
Are there any alternatives?
