Hi, well, the best way to get the sandbox examples-code is to do a fresh subversion checkout.
If so, you can also play around locally with the examples. Instructions for getting latest code and building the examples: http://wiki.apache.org/myfaces/Building_With_Maven BTW, the modal dialog seems to be quite stable. It will be migrated to the tomahawk component set the next days.
