problems (not working / have tried everything)

I meant my saveState looked like this:
   <t:saveState id="idSaveObject" value="#{object}"
and not
   <t:saveState id="idSaveObject" value="${object}"

where "object" is a reference to a managed bean in faces-config..xml

I am sure I have everything configured correctly but saveState does not 
seem to be working.  I am just jumping into JSF after giving it 2-3 
years to mature, but the documentation out there does not seem to 
explain the internals or anything in depth as far as <t:saveState> goes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
