The one that's displaying null is the FacesContext's current instance. When you called a bean method, using DWR, there is no FacesContext instance. Try setting the DWRFilter on your web.xml file on top of the chain, meaning it should be the first to be declared before all other filters.
I haven't tested this but try it out. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Matthias Wessendorf Sent: Thursday, January 11, 2007 11:33 PM To: MyFaces Discussion Subject: Re: DWR and JSF integration You can try with Mabon (http://mabon.dev.java.net) -M On 1/11/07, ved.gunjan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi All, > > Does any body uses DWR with jsf backing beans > I´m able to call methods off simple classes... but when I tried to call > methods of managedBeans, i´m getting a null error =/ > Like an JavaScript alert('null'); > > Also please provide with url which has some information on DWR and JSF > integration. > > Thanks > Ved > > > ________________________________ > Never Miss an Email > Stay connected with Yahoo!
