The one that's displaying null is the FacesContext's current instance. When
you called a bean method, using DWR, there is no FacesContext instance.  Try
setting the DWRFilter on your web.xml file on top of the chain, meaning it
should be the first to be declared before all other filters.

I haven't tested this but try it out.
