I have a JSF app which allows date entry. My default pattern is the UK style
(dd/mm/yyyy), however I would also like to allow shortened entry (dd/mm/yy).
If I try and enter a date in that fashion today's date of 15/01/07 is
amended to 15/01/0007.
The tags are set up as follows:
<h:inputText value="#{dealBackingBean.deal.completionDate}" >
<f:convertDateTime pattern="dd/mm/yyyy" timeZone="Europe/London" />
</h:inputText>
Is what I am trying to achieve easily achievable without the need to write a
custom converter?
