Mike, are you by any chance using the jsCookMenu or panelMenu (in list format) components? If so, I'd be very interested in seeing a sample of what you have working--I've been trying the examples code for different tomahawk versions since this summer and have yet to get them to work. If they work for you, that means I do indeed have an obscure config that I must go back to finding.
