Hi, i know this encoding issue (think there is a corresponding jira issue too), but still had no time to work on it. Maybe i can invest some time during next week, but i can not give a guarantee on it.

I also tried setting the parameter 'charset' of s:inputSuggestAjax to 'utf-8'. This had the effect that the items in the list were displayed correctly but the selected item was not.
