Okay, I see. I know these weekends and wifes asking why you are again at

your laptop ;-)

I can life with this intermediate solution of using the jenia component,
but I will looking forward to your fixes. If I can support you by
testing,
feel free to mail me your version. I use following Environment:
* Liferay 4.1.3
* MyFaces 1.1.5 + Tomahawk 1.1.5-Snaphot
* IE 5.5
* FF 2.0.1

BTW, the jenia component has also a small problem of layouting, when the

calendar is placed right aligned to the window, the popup is not visible
if it pops up. It is not moved to the visible area in this case.

Regards,

Stephan

Not quite solved, just that we know some root causes, but I had a
look at the positioning code, it really has to be rewritten
it works for most common cases, but there are a lot of cases where it is
bound to fail,
problem is that I do this in the sparetime, and since no one has taken
over the task for now.

I will crossport the dojo positioning code into this component this
week, this should resolve the issues (to my knowledge the dojo
positioning works pretty well).

I wanted to do it this weekend, but work and family work interfered, so
I had to push the fixup back a few days.

I really can recommend in the meantime, if you have layouting problems,
either use the jenia component or if you are on facelets, use the
facelet tags, I posted a few days ago, as workarounds.

It will be fixed asap, but it is not.
