Werner is doing something to put some dojo widgets in to myfaces tomahawk sandbox. It's not all about "wrapping", some pieces use the dojo api to enable things (ppr stuff).
But basically myfaces is using dojo to *render* the dhtml-style widgets, using dojo. Search the archive for a "stronger" integration; there was something like viewhandler and other jsf pieces mentioned in an older thread. -M On 4/20/07, kindsol <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
I've been using both dojo and and JSF for a couple years now and recently migrated from Sun's RI to MyFaces & Tomahawk. I am very interested in the work being done in Tomahawk and the Sandbox to add Dojo support. Is there any information available about the basic design theory for Dojo/MyFaces integration? I am about to dive into the source code, but I am guessing that it is just JSF components wrapping the dojo tags -- no? The dojo build is external to myfaces and needs to be included using the dojo initializer tag before using any dojo enables components? Thanks for any overview! -Sol
