Thats right, because trinidad converts the skin for gecko-engines and IE-engines, so if you run the firefox you will get an xy-234-gecko.css file in the other case you run an ie you will get an ie specific file. But thats not my problem, i don't no what happends with my changes in the skin file. I erase every start up (Tomcat) the work folder, so there are no old cached skin files but the new generated files doesent contain my changes :(

If you don't define a skin, trinidad uses the minmal-skin.css and in that case you will have an gecko.css file also in your work folder.
