one more, myfaces 1.2.x isn't really tested, nor there is an official release out. yet. We are close to have that happen.

Hello Andrea, Yep, you need to update to MyFaces 1.2.x or JSF RI 1.2 if you want to use Trinidad 1.2.x. If you're used to JSF 1.1, I would suggest to stay with trinidad 1.0.1 for now.
