The sheetSelectionListener is an other issue. For the sheetSelectionListener a change facet with an associated tc:command will do. The command is executed when the user changes the selection. I think the first thing is what most people want. Right? You would most probably have an event triggered outside the sheet. In saying this, I'm new enough to using Tobago so would not have seen many variations in use of this control.
