Hello Kito, Check tr:navigationPane using a "list" hint to see if it's good enough for you. If Tomahawk menu style is really wanted by the community, I already ported it to Trinidad architecture in a project and I'm pretty sure the client wouldn't mind giving it to Trinidad.
