If you're looking for a portlet environment (key features being user
preferences and customization plus SSO capabilities), then your question
really is "which portal server can I use with Ajax4jsf, RichFaces, and
Facelts". And, since that's essentially a JBoss stack (minus Seam), you
should take a look at JBoss Portal Server. It's probably your best option,
as long as the portal server itself has the features you're looking for.

Portals work really well for intranets..
