Sorry, forgot to mention that I do have the correct configuration for Portals in my project (portlet.xml and some other files for JBoss).
The thing is, that I am currently unable to load the Portlet in JBoss, no matter what. I'm not even trying to connect to the JSP's yet, I just merged in a simple Portlet example to see if the portlet is recognized by JBoss, but it seems it isn't. The example on its own does work, so there must be something I'm missing here... Anyway, I'll take a look at the bridge-thing you mentioned, see if that helps me out in any way.
