If you want to reset the value inside your action method (the one
invoked by the command button), do that inside:
....
UIXEditableValue many = (UIXEditableValue)
FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getViewRoot().findComponent("IdOfYourManyListboxComponent");
many.resetValue();
