Bjørn, The autocomplete attribute is a non-standard HTML attribute that is only supported by Microsoft browsers. The attribute will be ignored in Firefox. Using it, will break html validation. Because of this, I don't think MyFaces or Trinidad will support it in JSF components. If it is really important to you, you might be able to write your own JavaScript function to alter the DOM of the page after it has been loaded and set the attribute in pages on IE browsers.
