Salve Volker, thank you for your hint, its is working. But how does the 40px behave, when the user enlarges the font size. Does the textarea recalibrate himself, or do i run into the problem, that the text is gonna be cut away.
For this reason, a rows or visible rows attribute would be a real help, cause the tag still know how many rows have to be shown!
