Hi Michael,
in MyFaces there is no rowIndex that can be easily accessed from JSF code.
Tomahwak does introduce "rowIndex" variable.
However, this discussion was about how "rowIndex" behaves when the
"rendered" property is "false".
In this case "rowIndex" is still incremented if a row in the dataTable is
not rendered.
