Hi @all, I´m pretty new to JSF and like to ask a question concerning customizing the Trinidad components. The Trinidad input-components have some functionalities, that I need, because they are not available in the core JSF-libraries. But I´m not totally pleased with what Trinidad renders as html source code. For example, when I define a tr:inputText, a complete table is built around the input box, instead of using the <label>-<input> combination. Furthermore the * appears, whenever the field is required, which does not fit in my layout. So what I would like to do now is to redefine the html source code that will be rendered by those components. Is there a way to do this? I would I approach this issue? Or do I have to completely built my own components?
So mabye some more experience JSF-developers have some advice here. Thanks for help Thomas
