FlowScope beans are being added to the FlowScope.

FlowScope beans are being added to the FlowScope.  I suspect this is related to 
the message below.
 
  org.apache.myfaces.util.ExternalSpecifications isCDIAvailable
  INFO: MyFaces CDI support disabled

What dependencies are need to enable CDI?
