So, the right thing to do is to add your experiences to a related issue
there or to create a new issue there.

That is the place where you do that, not here.

The issue cab be resolve by adding the property in netbeans_default_options
property in etc/netbeans.conf
property: -J-Dorg.netbeans.modules.extbrowser.UseDesktopBrowse=true
