It does seem work for Java for me - if I have a switch, which is missing some possible cases, and I put the cursor inside the "switch" (or after it), there is a lightbulb on the left, and when I press Alt-Enter (or click on the lightbulb), and choose "Add missing case clauses", the missing cases are generated for me.
