I believe the issue I had with run-remote to a Raspberry Pi after
upgrading to NetBeans 19 is the same issue described here:

although my issue was with NetBeans 19 and Windows 10 versus NetBeans 14
and macOS in issue 4536.
The good news is that I got run-remote to work in NetBeans 19 with Java
17 by creating a new remote platform with exactly the same parameters as
the one that was imported automatically by NetBeans 19 following the
install.
The bad news is that remote debugging now fails with this error:
"...\nbproject\remote-platform-impl.xml:129: Unable to create javax
script engine for javascript"
