Small correction to my question. The API key came from the Gemini web site and I verified it was valid with the Gemini CLI on my PC.

CoPilot AI tells me to install BeanBot, it is, and then enter my API key, that I do have. The problem is that when I open, thru Options, the coding assistant it wants the location of the binary file. No indication where I might install the API keyI have installed Gemini with Node.js and it will work from the command line which is where I got my API key. I just cannot figure out how to connect it to NetBeans. Thank you for your time, Ken Fogel
