Andrea-

Also, can you send the complete error and stack trace that you are seeing? That might help shed light on the cause of the problem.

The code relating to jdo was removed from OpenJPA about a year ago which is
why it's odd that you're getting the error.

To put it another way, if only OpenJPA classes are on the classpath you shouldn't need to set the jdoEnhance flag at all. That's why Patrick and I were asking whether you have Kodo jars on the classpath. There's no jdo related code in OpenJPA (except for a few misleading messages) so it seems
likely that you're picking up Kodo in the path at some point.

I don't know how the Oracle JDBC driver could introduce the problem with JDO. Could you provide the classpath that you're using to run the ant task?
Maybe something will jump out at me.

Mike,

This question is a follow-on from a previous post
actually. My objective is to enhance the code at
build-time but when I include the oracle database
driver jar, I get an exception relating to missing
class definitions for jdo. If I use pointbase, I
don't get these exceptions and the enhancement works
fine now.

If that option is not supported in openjpac, I'm
wondering now if I am obligated to use jdo if I want
to use Oracle or if there is something else I can do
for build-time enhancement. Do you know anything
about Oracle and openjpa dependencies?
