Persisting list of built-in Java types with openjpa ?

Does OpenJPA support persisting List of built-in Java types ?

For example, can I do this :

@Entity
@Table(name = "TABLE_A")
public class MyEntity implements Serializable {
      @Id
      private int myId;
      private String myName;
      private List<String> myList;
      private List<Integer> mySecondList;
}
