Thanks for replies. After some days of debugging I successfully executed
OpenJPA with Firebird database. Some configuration tricks and OpenJPA
code changes were necessary for doing this. The following reports were

I'm one step before bug report #777, but I can not invent one more
meaningful bug report for this number :)
Yes! As, Simone points out, proposed patches are always welcome. Even if
you can't provide the specific patch, providing testcases is also welcome.
Anything to help pinpoint and resolve the problem will help with faster
turnaround. Thanks!
