Hi Donald, Thanks for your help. The plugin was built in Eclipse PDE environment with lot of mouse clicks whose full impact remained bit of a mystery to me. Effectively there are three 'Eclipse Projects' for the plugin + feature + site. While 'plugin project' has the actual source code, the other two projects contain mainly configuration files. To built via maven -- what is the suggested source code directory tree structure? Is there some archetype available? This article [1] addresses quite a few issues (with their solutions), some of which made me abandon my attempt to build the plugin using maven. The authors make it apparent that the process of builing Eclipse plugin with maven is quite involved. Hopefully, borrowing some of the experience of Geronimo subproject you mentioned will be handy.
