Thanks for looking. I saw the comment in the article which
is why I initialize the EMF within the context listener's
contextInitialized() method. Thus avoiding threading issue
as this is called once when the war is deployed.
The first comment on the above article suggests a multi-thread problem.
While I don't think you'd want to synchronize the method that initializes
the factory, you might try it to see if it fixes the problem.
