I must admit, I did not realize there were two distinct caches (L1 and L2). Furthermore, I am not that familiar with JPA 2.0 yet. (I will look into it.) As you say in your article: "Everyone loves cache", and I am certainly excited about it. I can feel that I still need to learn quite a bit about JPA (v1.0 and v2.0), and therefore I appreciate your pointers greatly! Thank you very much for your support.
