OK so this tutorial uses Geronimo 2.2 and the Geronimo 2.2 plugin for Eclipse. It seems that that plugin is not yet completely available. It is still in the staging area. So, if you are setting up Eclipse with Geronimo for the first time and the 2.2 plugin is still not yet available (you can check http://geronimo.apache.org/news-archive.html here ), just use Geronimo 2.1 and GEP 2.1.3
