Hi, I now opened a JIRA for the issue ( https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENJPA-2040 ).
Regarding your questions: Qualifier means Schema, so in the tablename "test.Person" "test" would be the qualifier. The two records are in different schemas but on the same database (otherwise my MetaDataFactory approach wouldn't work either). So one entity might be "test1.Person" and the other could be "test2.Group" on one platform, while on an other platform the entities might be "prod1.Person" and "prod2.Group". Best regards Marcel From: Pinaki Poddar <ppod...@apache.org> To: users@openjpa.apache.org Date: 15.08.2011 17:53 Subject: Re: Problems when using "openjpa.MetaDataFactory" Property Will you elaborate what is meant by Qualifier in this context? Where are the records for two entities that need to be joined? In two different schema in the same database? Two separate database? ----- Pinaki Poddar Chair, Apache OpenJPA Project -- View this message in context: http://openjpa.208410.n2.nabble.com/Problems-when-using-openjpa-MetaDataFactory-Property-tp6671704p6687995.html Sent from the OpenJPA Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- RSC Commercial Services GmbH & Co.
