In the 2.4 uncompressed link you send, I am able to see the markers
when I zoom in (although they are displayed as vector data).

I checked out the two different versions of 2.3 and they are indeed
different, though It seems very bizarre to me that this would be
happening only because of the js minimizer.

Have you tried running your page with the latest from trunk? It would
be good to see if this problem is still happenning there. We'll be
making a 2.5 release sometime in the next month and it will be good to
track this down.

Unfortunately, I am not the most up-to-date on the WFS code. Maybe
someone who has been working on that section of the project could help
you out more.
