Is there, or are there any plans to add an interoperability layer with GWT (Google Web Toolkit - http://code.google.com/webtoolkit/)? There is one for Google Maps (http://sourceforge.net/projects/gwt) and it's just such so much more fun for this developer to write in Java rather than JavaScript.
