I actually made it work for the LayerSwithcher by deactivating a few
parameters in the LayerSwitcher.js:

//this.div.style.top = "100px"; //25px default                  
//this.div.style.right = "0px"; 

in the html page:
#layerswitcher {
            width: 24.7%;
            height: 70%;
            border: 0px solid black;
            top: 100;
            left: 0px;  

now i have to find this for the editingtoolbar
