There are limits, In google maps if you create a view with more than a
few hundred markers (varies by machine processing ability) there can be
some real burdening of map performance... can anyone tell me if a
iimilar situation exists in openlayers and what work arounds there are?
(for google maps there is something called MarkerManager..... which
actively removes markers that are out of map area or which fall outside
of a given zoom)
