-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Ok - the calculation of the resolution is clearer now:
http://wiki.osgeo.org/index.php/WMS_Tiling_Client_Recommendation says "Rather than rely on the much-overloaded concept of "scale," this recommendation instead will describe scales or zoom levels in terms of "resolution," defined in terms of map units (typically degrees or meters) per pixel." So, for a scale of 1:2000000 at a pixel size of 0.28mm I come up with a resolution of 560. Correct? Still I don't get a positionwise correct image, but after setting tilecache's bbox to the same figures as OpenLayer's the image seems to be in a more scale. http://gis.sisby.de/OLmaps/ngewerbegebiete :( Best - Markus -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFHWGZCxxUzQSse11ARAr8hAJ9TDd0/6c7qJrh7o5UpsgzdvdvMNwCfe6Hy cmXPY64kSG3NdCDRr1swaO4= =xPzU -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Users mailing list [email protected] http://openlayers.org/mailman/listinfo/users
